Everyone is familiar with customers. These are people who pay us for the service we provide. I suppose “pay us” can take different meanings. For instance a service writer might consider the technicians as their customer. The tech may not hand over money for each service, but their work does cover the service adviser's compensation.
Along these lines the technicians might also consider the service writer as their vendor. This leaves me with a thought:
If they had a choice, would my techs still “hire” me for the service I provide and if not, why not?
