Many people reading this site might become interested in the Deming philosophy. They try to add it to their business and find it very difficult. Asking around they may find many other businesses that have tried and failed to implement the philosophy.
There is nothing inherently difficult in implementation, but there are many obstacles that can prevent carrying it out. These obstacles must be dealt with if the business is to be transformed and reap the rewards. The following list are a few of the more common things I have found that stand in the way. In this series of articles, in the coming weeks, I will try to address each in a separate post.
My hope is to address what I feel are problems people face. This series may only be successful if I receive input from others. Please feel free to add your experience, ask questions or contradict what you do not agree with. With public discussion many great points are made that might otherwise have not been brought out.
This portion of the site has the knowledge that can make shop owners millionaires. It has before. Yet it is largely ignored. Why? My guess is that it is not the quick, easy, just read a forum and learn everything you need, answer. But the quick answer does not exist.
